Methodological instruction to practical classes for students of dentistry faculty
Lesson 1 (practical classes– 6 hours)
Professional orientation of students: Proper organization of dentistry cabinet of Child Dentistry is essential for the successful treatment of children of all ages. Dentist Children must be specific reception of children, history, examination and treatment, the ability to use dental instruments.
Theme: Organisation of work and equipment dental office. Universal dental unit, dental handpieces. Basic dental tools for therapeutic reception: species designation. Disinfection and sterilization of dental equipment and instruments. Production of gypsum phantoms.
Objective: Introduction to the structure of the department, school organization, discipline sections. Organization of the dental office of Paediatric Dentistry, features providing dental care to patients of child. Studies dental instruments, disinfection and sterilization of dental equipment and instruments.
Target: Lock tip on sleeve drill, burr on a tip drill to check the readiness to work, conduct disinfection and sterilization of dental equipment and instruments.

Work 1. Willing universal dental unit to work.

Means per student:

Time spent at work (manipulations one student): 5 min.
Method of execution:
1. Work out the correct time fixing arm tip on portable drills during preparation.
2. Attach Pneumatic Turbine tip on exit drill.
3. Attach a mechanical tip on micromotor.
4. Collate and lubricate various types of handpieces special oils.
Work 2. Using dental tools.
Place of employment: Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
Object: phantom class
Means a group: a set of dental tools – 1.
Means per student: a set of dental tools-1, internet page TSMU, educational map.
Time spent at work (manipulations one student): 5 min.
Method of execution:
Dental mirror consists of a round mirror surface in a metal frame and handle. Mirrors are flat, which give a true reflection of concave and that the image is increased. Apply for direct lighting inaccessible areas of the oral cavity, fixed lips, cheeks, tongue, and protect them from injury with sharp instruments.
Dental probe is angular (bent at an angle) and direct. Apply for detecting cavities, fissures condition, depth, tenderness and hardness of dental tissue topography mouths root canals, the presence of dental plaque and periodontal pockets. Periodontal probes measure the depth of periodontal pockets, they have three types.
Dental tweezers with bent at an obtuse angle branshamy serves to make the mouth cotton rollers, balls, drugs, holding small tools, determining tooth mobility and other manipulations.
Work 3. Disinfection and sterilization dentistry tools and equipment.
Place of employment: sterilization bathroom Department of Pediatric Dentistry.

Means per group: bleach 100 ml.
Means per student: disinfectants, solutions – 10 ml.
Method of execution:
1. To the use of disinfectants.
2. Hot sterilization.
3. Cold sterilization.
4. Autoclaving.
Tasks for self-study:
1. Types and modes of endodontic handpieces
2. Modern methods of sterilization of dental instruments.
4. Seminar to discuss theoretical issues and practical work (12.30-14.00 h).
Questions:

2. New antiseptics and rules for their application.
5. Independent study student 14.15. – 15.00 hours checked by solving situational problems on each topic, answers to tests like “Krok” design issues.
