This course provides foundational learning
experiences for understanding and performing a health history and physical
examination of individuals across the lifespan.
Students will utilize systematic history taking and the knowledge of
therapeutic communication to elicit subjective data; collect objective data;
validate, analyze and document data.
Holistic health assessment is viewed from a health promotion, cultural,
nutritional, mental health and developmental perspective.
