Methodical Instructions to Lessons 9 for Students.
Subject: The human body (the head, the trunk and the extremities). Perfect Tenses. Active and Passive Voice.
The number of hours – 6.
Objective: To
enrich the vocabulary based on medical terminology; to practise grammar skills
using Perfect tenses; to develop the students’ reading translating and speech
habits.
Professional orientation: The gained knowledge can be used at the human
anatomy and Latin language classes.

4. to learn the terms referring to the structure of the head (skull, the
bones and muscles of the head);
5. to name the main parts of the brain and their functions;
6. to describe the structure of the oral cavity;
7. to learn the terms referring to the structure of the trunk skeleton;
8. to describe the organs of the chest, abdominal cavity, pelvic cavity and
their functions;
9. to learn the terms referring to the structure of upper and lower
extremities;

to differentiate grammar phenomena an samples.

for everyday knowledge assessment.
The
Student participation encouraging aspect of the lesson

To teach
the names of parts of the body, the students cut a page of a newspaper in the
shape of a head, stomach, hand etc.
Then, using a washing line and clothes pegs, the teacher asks the students to
hang their projects on the washing line. The students repeat the names of the
parts of the body after the teacher.
v
After teaching the
vocabulary of the parts of the body, the teacher asks them to close their eyes
while the teacher hides some of the parts of the body. A few seconds later the
teacher asks them to open their eyes and name the missing the parts of the body
and then to find them.
